The main praying is double volume and expansive. Single slit on the front wall to represent the one-ness of God. The wall is kept simple with no ornamentation to kept the congregation focus on the Imam.This is the view of the approach. We kept balance of the modern interpretation of islamic ornamentations with the solid elements.

We hope to feature rammed earth wall to be used here such that the community can help to erect the wall. This is to raise ownership of the building to the community as well as a measure of cost saving during construction.

Maybe this is our longest project thus far. We helped .a small Indonesian community in Houston to master plan and raise fund for building their new mosque. It is till on-going and we hope that they will have enough funding to build it.
